What the hell happened to summer?! Where are my blue skies, warm weather, and frothy beverages? I’ve been trapped in a library in northern california for the past few months, but these dog days of summer are about to come to an end. In two short weeks I’ll be back in San Diego and I’m bringing the sunshine with me! (Not to mention a nice surprise from Wyatt, Jesse, and I)

If you descended into the pandemonious basement of American Apparel in downtown San Diego last weekend, your stress levels were probably shooting through the roof as tiny tweens trampled you to grab discounted hoodies and your body temperature was rising faster than an old man with viagra because of the stuffy, windowless air combined with the heat of 300 bargain-hunting bodies. If this sounds completely terrible, then you weren’t there. It was actually pretty fun. The staff was rad (especially the cashiers, woop woop!), the thongs were free, and the soundtrack was bumping. I now bring to you that very soundtrack. I made this the night before to keep my toes tapping through the day and it did the job quite well. It’s a wide ranging mix of old and new, chill and upbeat, clean and grimy. There’s everything from Justin Bieber to dubstep in here. It’s also my longest mix topping out at over an hour, because, you know, people take forever to shop. So if you were there, here’s your chance to relive that glorious, sleep-deprived weekend, and if you weren’t, then put this on, close your eyes, turn up the heat, and let your imagination take flight.
